Samsung's UHD TV introduces world's first HDR support

Samsung Electronics has introduced YouTube's new global High Dynamic Range (HDR) service to provide technical support for its Ultra High Definition TVs so that users can watch more vivid and colorful YouTube videos.

According to Samsung's announcement, the tech giant is providing updates for its UHD TVs so that it could support HDR feature when playing YouTube videos. YouTube provides users with HDR specialized videos for life-like color.

HDR is an image processing technology which highlights the screen's darkest and brightest areas to display vivid and clear colors to the extreme range.

Samsung will collaborate with famous YouTube creators to provide more HDR videos. YouTube's product partnership director has said that the world's largest video company is happy to introduce YouTube HDR service to Samsung UHD TVs and it would continue to develop an environment for HDR contents.
