BIGBANG has earned the second entry on the Billboard 200 with the group's new album "MADE" which showed impressive chart results at home abroad just in a week.

More than four years ago, the group scored the first Korean-language K-pop album to appear on the Billboard 200 with Alive.

This time, Made debuted at No. 172 on the Billboard 200 with 6,000 equivalent album units earned in the United States in the week ending December 5, the prominent US music chart said on its website, citing Nielsen Music.

The Billboard 200 chart ranks the most popular albums of the week in the US, based on multi-metric consumption, which includes traditional album sales, track equivalent albums and streaming equivalent albums.

Billboard said the group's new album "arguably had one of the most grand rollouts for a full-length in recent memory". "The songs exemplify the band's range of talents."

From playful, futuristic hip-hop ("Bae Bae" and the just-unveiled "Fxxk It") to stunning, emotional mid-tempos ("Loser," "Let's Not Fall in Love"), there's loads of musical highlights here, Billboard said.

"But what may be most striking is the new track "Last Dance," which feels like a letter to the fans, a.k.a. the VIPs, who spent years supporting the boy band in their decade together and are even heard screaming in the final 30 seconds of the track."

Big Bang's new album was favored by critics at home and abroad. Many said the album's quality was flawless, proving the boys showed their ability to compose, sing and write good lyrics.
