Park Sung-hyun, a star player on the South Korean female golf tour, has signed a sponsorship deal with TaylorMade-Adidas Golf for her LPGA Tour debut this season, her management agency said.

Sema Sports Marketing said Park would use TaylorMade's golf bag, all-new M2 driver, and fairway woods. The 23-year-old is now training in Orlando, Florida.

Park, who will compete at the Pure Silk-Bahamas Classic in January as a regular LPGA member, said that with the TaylorMade driver, she could increase the distance by 10 to 15 yards.

At home, Park was last year's money leader with seven victories and a total prize money of more than 1.3 billion won (1.1 million US dollars). She was popular for her aggressive style and as a long hitting golfer.
