Hyolyn, a South Korean idol singer and a leader of girl group SISTAR, will have a showcase at the South by Southwest (SXSW) festival in the United States, describing her as "Korean Beyonce".
On their website, festival organizers released a lineup of artists who will perform at the annual showcase of films, interactive media, and music festivals and conferences in mid-March in Austin, Texas.
SXSW said the singer has been building her career in the global market by performing at Ultra Singapore 2016, one of the world's famous EDM music festivals.
"Due to her amazing singing abilities, she's renowned as the 'Korean Beyonce'," it said. "Hyolyn has gained the respect of musicians from around the world. Not only has Hyolyn collaborated with Far East Movement, but she has also worked with composer Giorgio Moroder."
