As Samsung is in preparation for the launching of its upcoming flagship smartphone "Galaxy S8", scheduled for release in April, an image was leaked by a Russian IT media MACDIGGER.

"The image which shows a supposed Galaxy S8 looks most reliable. It is real enough to say it's genuine with no doubt," according to MACDIGGER. Speculating from the image, an iris scanner is placed on top and Samsung's iconic hardware home button is missing.

Many previous rumors suggested that Samsung would remove the home button in order to enlarge the display and would install a fingerprint scanner.

Another noticeable change is the removal of a 3.5mm headphone jack. This change would undoubtedly go controversial as Apple's iPhone7 was hammered by consumers over the missing headphone jack.

Many other companies like HTC and Motorola followed the trend but there's still a large portion of consumers who would like to have their new smartphones to be released with the conventional 3.5 mm jack.
