As Samsung prepares for the launching of the Android OS-powered "Galaxy Tab S3" at the 2017 Mobile World Congress in Barcelona this week, there could be a chance of the tech giant launching another tablet using Microsoft's Windows as its operating system.
Various media reports claimed that Samsung may be preparing for a little surprise at the trade show, suggesting it could be the Windows-powered "Galaxy TabPro S2". The new tablet has been certified as a Bluetooth compatible device, and its product name was listed as "SM-W727V".
If confirmed, Samsung would join the Windows-powered tablet PC race led by Microsoft, Dell, Lenovo and ASUS. Many small and medium Chinese firms are also strong contenders in the race.
Android OS is still a global trend, but the need for an office work compatible Windows-powered tablet PC has also grown, forming an independent market.
