Two smart robots developed by South Korea's LG Electronics became a mascot for South Korea's gateway after they were deployed at Incheon International Airport for field testing.

LG said that a robot guide and a cleaning robot,  introduced at the Consumer Electronics Show earlier this year, would embark on their actual service later in the year after collecting data during their field test.

The guide robot will autonomously roam through the airport, providing boarding information while the cleaning robot will clean the terminal. Incheon International Airport has been rated the world's best. With its robots, LG hopes to provide multilingual support and conveniences for travelers.
