The fan community of singer IU is humming with worries after she promised to release a single at the end of March ahead of a new full album that would come a month later. Some expressed concern about a new round of malicious criticism.

"IU would return in April with a full-album," an official from IU's agency, LOEN Entertainment, adding she would unveil a single as a pre-release.  In February, she said in her Instagram post, "I am working hard just below the water line."

The 23-year-old was caught up in brutal online bullying two years ago when she released an album "Cat-Shire". Cyber bullies heavily criticized her for using sexual metaphors in her song despite her immediate denial.  The online attack had been kept unabated for months until she threatened to take strong legal action in January this year.

Other artists including former f(x) member Sulli have been plagued by cyberbullying and malicious rumors.
