A consortium involving South Korean and Turkish firms won a three billion US dollar deal to build the world's longest suspension bridge, officials said Friday.
The deal was signed in a ceremony attended by in Ankara, according to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport. The 3.7-kilometer would be built by 2023 in Canakkale in the northwestern end of Turkey. The consortium involves South Korea's SK E&C and Daelim and two Turkish partners.
