The official rendering image of Samsung's new flagship smartphone Galaxy S8 has been leaked online, showing the front and side of each purported color variations of S8 – Sky Black, Orchid Gray and Artic Silver.

The image was leaked through a Twitter user Evan Bliss. Bliss is well known for his accurate predictions on to-be-released smart devices and leaked information. In the image, all color variations of S8 are shown. All variations have black space on the top and bottom parts.

Many previous rumors claimed the smartphone would have a totally black face due to many sensor holes placed in its front. The holes, including a front-facing camera and iris scanner, would appear as black gaping holes if S8's face is covered in different colors.

Another notable point is that Samsung's new flagship has no hardware home button on its front side. This is a little surprising. While other smartphone makers such as LG, Huawei and Sony ditched hardware home buttons from a few years ago, Samsung has stubbornly kept it, sometimes adding a fingerprint scanning feature to the home button.

Experts speculate S8's hardware button has been removed to maximize the display's size. Samsung will hold an unpacking event on March 30 and would release the phone in April.
