What would you do to stop a suicide by a woman sitting on a high-rise apartment window ledge?  The solution found by South Korean firefighters was a powerful flying kick in mid-air.

A perilous situation was captured in a viral video which showed a young woman sitting on the window ledge of her eighth-floor apartment with her legs hanging out as if she is about to jump. Through the window of her neighboring house, a man was seen negotiating with her.

As the man wearing a gray civilian jacket constantly talks to the woman in an apparent attempt to distract her attention, with his upper body sticking out from the window, a firefighter silently rappels down overhead. At a decisive moment when the firefighter seems ready, he jumps down to land a strong flying kick to the chest that sent her tumbling back into her home.

An unnamed YouTuber claimed the video was filmed in an apartment complex in Incheon, a port city some 30 kilometers (18 miles) west of Seoul. It's not clear when the video was filmed but it was uploaded and shared during the last few days.
