Solo singer IU will celebrate her 24th birthday with fans by doing community service, according to an entertainment specialist media.
XPORTS NEWS reported, citing a music industry insider, that IU will draw murals with 50 fans in Seoul as her community service on May 13, after accepting recommendations from fans that she should do something meaningful rather than a birthday party.
Although celebrities doing community service on their birthdays are not rare, many famous stars hold huge birthday parties with fans at stadiums and hotel halls. Sometimes, fans organize birthday parties and present pricey gifts such as motorbikes, a luxurious watch or even a car.
