An image of the purported rear panel part of Apple's iPhone SE (2017), a four-inch budget model, was uploaded online by a leaked information specialist group, "/LEAKS" (SLASHLEAKS).
The leaked image showed four rear plates of iPhone SE's purported new version with no mention on its origination. The image is probably from China or Foxconn, the world's largest contract electronics manufacturer which operates an iPhone factory in China.
The image also suggests the new iPhone SE will have "Jet Black", a glossy black color, as an option and the glass rear plate is made of Ion-X Glass, the same material used for the screen of Apple Watch Sport model.
Apple released the first generation of iPhone SE in March last year, and it reportedly is in preparation to release the second generation. The new budget phone is smaller in size than other 4.7-inch or larger iPhone brothers with its features about a generation behind the latest models.
