Omeh Kim, a popular live streamer, ran away, screaming when he encountered a body washed up on the beach during his routine work in the middle of the night. Everything was live streamed to domestic fans because he held on to his camera.

A strange thing was caught on camera on Wednesday when Kim was live streaming the footage of himself and his friend in Dadaepo, a beach in the southern port city of Busan, at 3:00 am (1800 GMT).

The footage, relayed through a domestic live streaming service, showed a person wearing dark colored clothing and lying face down on the beach.

"Wait!. Isn't that a person?" Kim asked. He and his friend ran away after realizing it was a dead body. Panting from sprinting desperately to gain a safe distance, Kim said: "I will report to police from here. I am pretty sure the thing was not a mannequin. Man, I was so scared."

Kim and his friend were not the only people who were shocked by the unexpected encounter. "I was watching the live stream. Me and other viewers thought the thing was a mannequin because the body was so white," said Deheh, an online community user. "but when we all realized it was a dead person, we all panicked. I was so shocked I could not sleep."

Police identified the dead man by his surname Seo, 24, and said there was no letter or will found. They believe Seo may have died recently because the body did not show decomposition.
