Residents of Damyang, some 250 kilometers (155 miles) southeast of Seoul, ran to find shelter from an unexpected hailstorm that has swept the countryside on Thursday morning. Hail the size of a golf ball fell from the sky, smashing into parked vehicles' windshields and fruit trees.
