Xiaomi, a Chinese electronics company which is getting popular in South Korea with cheap but reliable products, has launched a Korean version of its official website that provides links to official online malls and distributors.
The web page opened this week, introducing best-selling products such as air purifiers, smart wristbands capable of tracking health information and portable battery packs. Xiaomi products are well known for affordable prices as well as simple and fine design. Linked shopping malls are shelved with best-selling products. Previously, small retailers have sold Xiaomi products online.
Xiaomi gained global attention in 2011 with its very first smartphone, Mi-1. Since then, the company has gradually expanded its product lineup, and it now produces various smartphones, personal electric vehicles, drones and smart home kits which connect home appliances together.
