Sharing economy has been on the rise with Airbnb, Uber, Lyft, and other sharing platforms. There is now a new platform called Trusted Housesitters that enables animal lovers to travel the world without paying for lodgings.

How does it work? Whether you are homeowners with pets or willing sitters who like to travel and experience the authentic local flair, you have to pay $119 (€89) per year for membership fee on both sides of pet owners and pet sitters. There is far lower than any boarding cost, which can add up to an astronomical amount, and hotel or Airbnb payments if you break it down to the per day cost.

After making a membership profile and pay the annual membership fee, you get an access to verified sitters for pet owners and temporary housing with new furry friends for travel bugs.
