Girl group TWICE has dominated Japan's prestigious music chart, Oricon Daily Album Chart, with its Japanese debut album "#TWICE", which was released last week.

According to the girls' agency, JYP Entertainment, the Japanese debut album was placed at the top of the daily album chart on Sunday. Since their debut last Wednesday, the girls were greeted by about 15,000 Japanese fans at a successful showcase Sunday in Tokyo.

More than 115,000 copies of the new album have been sold, the agency said. "#TWICE" includes 10 Korean and Japanese versions of the group's hit songs such as "LIKE OOH-AHH", "CHEER UP" and "TT".
