Girls' Generation will come back in August as a full group for the first time in two years.

"Girls' Generation has kept its reputation as the iconic girl group in Asia for last 10 years," said the agency in a press statement Tuesday. "The girls will remind fans of their status once again with their new album." The new album will be released in August.

Along with the album's release, Girls' Generation will hold a special fan meeting concert on August 5, to celebrate their 10th anniversary and the launching of their new album. The group's comeback will be the first full-member activity in two years since the release of the group's last album "Lion Heart" in 2015.

Girls' Generation debuted in 2007 and became one of the most popular girl groups in South Korea. The group is also led the Hallyu (Korean Cultural Wave) over Asian countries including China, Japan and Southeast Asian Countries.
