American golfer Nelly Korda, one of US LPGA's hottest figures, signed a sponsorship deal with Hanwha, a major South Korean conglomerate.
Along with her sister Jessica Korda, Nelly is dubbed one of the most beautiful women in golf by Golf.com, a US-based golf specialist media. She is currently in her rookie year and is ranked 87th in Women's World Golf Rankings. The 19-year-old gained attention as the younger sister of Jessica who is also well known for her skills and looks.
"We have signed a sponsorship with Nelly Korda to nurture her as a competitive golfer and to strengthen our brand image in the global market," Hanwha said in a statement Thursday.
Nelly will wear Hanwha's colors and logos starting with the Marathon Classic tournament on July 20. The Korda sisters will also compete with South Korean female golfers at next month's Hanwha Classic on the Jade Palace golf club in the eastern city of Chuncheon.
