Florida teens -ages between 14 to 16- who filmed a 31-year-old man named Jamal Dunn while he was drowning to his death in a pond last week were found not responsible for his death.

In the film, the teens were taunting, laughing, and cursing at the drowning man while Dunn was screaming and asking for help.

The teens contacted neither 911 nor local authorities to aid the man in need. Until Dunn's body was found on July 14, no one was aware of what happened to him.

The local authorities called the video "extremely disturbing" as the video not only recorded Dunn's final moment but also recorded the teens' inhumane comments and laughs. The teens were well aware that Dunn was "going to die" and telling him "you shouldn't have gone in there."

The victim struggled for about 10 minutes before drowning to death.

According to detectives who questioned the teens, they noted that especially one teen was smirking and showing "no remorse".

However, because they were not directly involved in his death and by law, they are not required to rescue, they teens who mocked a dying man will walk free regardless of how their actions were immoral. The identities of the teens will not be released because they are minors who technically did not commit any crime.

Dunn walked out of his fiance's home after having an argument with her. He then walked into a pond that is located about 10 minutes away from her place on his own. He is survived by two daughters who are 11 and 6.

The victim's sister Simone McIntosh set up a GoFundMe page to cover Dunn's funeral expenses. As of July 22, $33,820 was donated.

Dunn's sister also released the disturbing video on social media after learning that the teens will not be charged. It caused a great outburst of rage on social media. The majority of viewers expressed their disbelief and shock on how the teens were immoral and inhumane.
