Shooing away wild rumors that Suzy, an iconic K-pop star, may find another agency or create her own, the singer actress decided to stay with her former agency by renewing her contract.
Eyes in South Korea's entertainment scene have been kept on Suzy since her contract with JYP Entertainment expired in April. However, the 22-year-old kept her long friendship with JYP, who vowed to support Suzy so that she can engage in diverse and meaningful activities.
Suzy debuted in 2010 as a miss A group member, appeared in "Architecture 101" and "Uncontrollably Fond". In September, Suzy will appear on an SBS drama, "While You Were Sleeping".
