BIGBANG member TOP will continue his mandatory military service as a public service worker after being expelled by police for smoking marijuana.
Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency said in a statement on Monday that the defense ministry decided the 30-year-old to continue his mandatory military service as a public service worker.
The police added that TOP will be assigned accordingly to a designated workplace by the Military Manpower Administration.
The singer was given a suspended jail sentence in July after a court found him guilty of smoking marijuana multiple times before he started his military service as a conscripted policeman in February.
