Singer IU will return to the music scene with a remake album, the 24-year-old's agency, Fave Entertainment, said Friday.

"IU will release her second remake album 'Flower Bookmark Two' in mid-September," said Fave in a statement. The singer successfully released her first remake album "Flower Bookmark" in 2014. IU collaborated with famous singers to sing remakes of all-time-favorite tracks from the 70s to the 90s.

The new remake album would be IU's second activity in 2017 as she released a full album "Palette" in April, topping the music charts of South Korean online music services. Fave Entertainment said IU chose to make her comeback this month as September 20 is the ninth anniversary of the singer's debut.

The agency said the exact date for the album's release is not yet decided but would notify fans as soon as the date is fixed.
