Jang Dong-min, a popular comedian who was under constant attacks in forms of malicious rumors and curses, declared war against cyber bullies.

The 38-year-old said in a Friday statement that he has filed complaints against about 100 cyber bullies alleging the people have attacked Jang and his family members through malicious comments. The comedian promised "strong legal actions without forgiveness".

The level of insults has crossed a line which Jang can accept and condone, the comedian's agency said. The cyber bullies demanded Jang step off the stage and urged Jang to kill himself. The agency said Jang was stressed by such malicious comments and had to receive psychotherapy.

Jang was constantly targeted by online feminist communities from a few years ago, for his words which advocated rights of men.

Online feminist groups previously launched coordinated cyber attacks against Sulli, a former member of a girl group f(x). The singer actress became the target when she became a model for a photography book. Online feminists accused the singer of intentionally wearing make-ups and clothes to look like a minor.

IU, a popular female singer, was also dogged a barrage of malicious comments two years ago when female-centered online communities criticized her for using sexual metaphors in her song.
