Korea-China friendship association head discusses development with Jilin party secretary

Lee Se-ki, the South Korean head of the private Korea-China Friendship Association has met with Ba In Chao Lu, the Chinese Communist Party secretary of Jilin Province, to discuss cooperative development between the two countries.

The meeting came during Lee's trip  to attend the 11th Northeast Asia Expo in Changchun

"The Korea-China Friendship Association has been committed to strengthening friendly cooperation between South Korea and China for a long time," said Ba In Chao Lu. "The association has played an important role in promoting the friendship between people from the two countries and cooperation between Jilin and South Korea."

"Jilin Province and South Korea are geographically close, deeply connected, and complementary to each other's economy," the party secretary said, adding the association will continue to play its role.  "I hope that Koreans will invest more in Jilin and seek development together."

Lee hoped for the success of the expo. "The association will play an active role so that South Korea and Jilin can promote in-depth and substantial cooperation in wide areas."  Jilin Province's chief secretary Zhang Anshun attended the meeting.
