Hurricane Irma, category five hurricane, has devastated many countries in Caribbean and State of Florida in the U.S. There are 82 deaths reported from the impact and Barbuda was wiped out completely.
Many people suffered property damages including an emergency shelter that housed 70 foster kids who had nowhere else to go. The place they were evacuating in to hide from Hurricane Irma lost electricity.
SOS Children's Village Florida where the 70 foster kids were at contacted one of its board members, Marc Bell, as their last hope. To their surprise, the generous millionaire opened up his home to all 70 kids.
Bell who was an executive of an adult magazine, Penthouse, has $30 million, 27,000 square-foot Mediterranean style mansion that can house all 70 children. Bell's home is equipped with a game room, a pool with waterfalls, a basketball court, a gym and more. It has 8 bedrooms and 16 bathrooms for children to occupy.
The millionaire and his wife, Jennifer Bell, did not stop there but planned special treatments for the boys and girls. They "had manicures for the little girls" and "had a singer come" to entertain them during their dinner, according to CBS 12, a Florida-based CBS news station.
It is not clear how long the kids will stay in the mansion. If you want to contribute to support the foster kids, visit GoFundMe page that was set up by Marc Bell to donate. It has garnered over $86,000 of its $250,000 goal.
