South Korea's popular boy band BTS will release a remixed song from its new album this month through collaboration with American musicians Steve Aoki and Desiigner, according to the group's management agency.

"MIC Drop" was a hip-hop track from "Love Yourself: Her", released in September. Aoki is an electro house musician, DJ and record producer while Desiigner is a singer-songwriter, rapper and producer.

Big Hit Entertainment said the remix of "MIC Drop" will be released worldwide on November 17, two days before the group performs at the American Music Awards for the first time as a K-pop group.

At the awards show, the group will sing its hit single "DNA". BTS has set a new record in South Korea's album sales with more than 1.2 million copies of "Love Yourself: Her". The popularity of its new album was explosive in online video platforms.
