Thanks to K-pop boy band BTS, James Corden, a British actor who hosts a CBS program, "The Late Late Show", has been picked as the most popular TV personality in the United States for the first time in his life.
Hollywood Reporter, an American entertainment news company, announced a new list for its weekly "Top TV Personalities chart", placing Cordon on top. The show host uploaded a video of BTS rehearsing for his show two weeks ago and the tweet was shared on the internet over a million times.
"Corden’s post-BTS social media bump scores him the No. 1 on the chart," Hollywood Reporter said, adding the chart lists the most popular TV personalities on Facebook and other social networks, based on data from social media analysts.
