While the popularity of South Korean boy band BTS is soaring in the United States, a strange atmosphere between the group and Charlie Puth, an American singer-songwriter, was spotted, sparking speculation about collaboration.
"Yo @BTS_twt ...DMs!!:" Puth tweeted, urging BTS members to check up on their Twitter's direct message (DM). While normal tweets are open to the public, DMs are private messages.
Puth's tweet has been retweeted more than 100,000 times in just a few hours. Thousands of fans were talking about a joint project as BTS and Puth confessed on Twitter in March that they love each other's music so much. "OMG PLS I JUST HAD A HEART ATTACK", a Twitter user nicknamed "mariamendes_6" expressed her joy through a retweet.
