SEOUL, Jan. 26 (Aju News) -- BIGBANG member TOP resumed his mandatory military service as a public service worker Friday after being expelled by police in 2017 for smoking marijuana.

YG Entertainment said the 30-year-old began working at the Yongsan district office near central Seoul. Details were not given. The defense ministry has ordered TOP to continue his service as a public service worker after he was given a suspended jail sentence in July last year. A court found him guilty of smoking marijuana multiple times before he became a conscripted policeman in early 2017.
