SEOUL -- BTS member j-hope gained global attention Friday with his new song "Daydream" included in his mixtape, a compilation album of his experimental music.
The song's music video was watched more than seven million times in less than 12 hours of its release. The mixtape is used in the hip-hop and R&B scene to describe a certain type of recordings, normally self-produced and independently released. Such mixtapes are free of charge and sometimes contain experimental music.
