SEOUL -- A studio, known for visual effects used to recreate hell in South Korea's fantasy movie "Along With the Gods: The Two Worlds", will provide its content to a theme park under construction on China's southern island of Hainan.

Dexter Studios said Tuesday it has signed a deal worth 5.8 million US dollars with China's real estate developer Evergrande Group which is involved in the construction of Ocean Flower Island, an artificial archipelago in Hainan. The Ocean Flower Island project will be completed in 2020.

For its content, the studio will create a combination of visual media, sound effects, various special effects and virtual reality platforms, based on a Chinese martial arts fantasy TV series.

Thanks to the studio's stunning visual effects, "Along With the Gods: The Two Worlds" released in December last year has attracted many moviegoers to become South Korea's second biggest box office hit in history.
