SEOUL -- CJ Logistics, South Korea's largest parcel delivery company, has forged a strategic alliance with Vietnam's low-cost carrier Vietjet Air to cooperate in air logistics.
The logistics arm of South Korea's CJ group said in a statement Monday that it has signed an agreement to cooperate with Vietjet in air routes including flights to and from Vietnam, South Korea and the United States.
"If the two companies start to cooperate, CJ Logistics' air logistics sales and profit margin will increase," a CJ logistics official said, adding his company would seek the possible joint operation of logistics terminals or cargo planes. Vietjet operates 38 domestic and 44 international routes.
