[Coca-Cola]

SEOUL --  K-pop boy band BTS has been chosen as the new model for Coca-Cola, the world-famous soft drink company said Monday. The seven-member group will start promoting the world's favorite soft drink in June when this year's World Cup kicks off in Russia.

As an official World Cup sponsor, Coca-Cola is known for selecting celebrity models based on their social image and how they match the company's campaign. In December last year, actor Park Bo-gum was chosen as a Coca-Cola model. He actively promoted Coke during this year's 2018 Winter Olympics.
