SEOUL -- Seungri, a member of K-pop band BIGBANG, will hold his first-ever concert in August. The 28-year-old is the only active member of the six-member group since other members are away serving their country.
YG Entertainment said in a statement on Tuesday that Seungri will hold a two-day concert on August 4 in Seoul, about a month after the release of his first solo album in early July.
Seungri has pursued his career in singing and playacting. He also took the main role in "Love Only", a Chinese film screened in March this year. The youngest BIGBANG member is also well-known for his successful business skills, operating a dance academy or a Japanese noodle store.
