SEOUL -- LS Cable & System, a major cable manufacturer based in Seoul, signed a deal Monday with Indonesia's AG Group to set up a power cable joint venture as part of efforts to complete a production network in Southeast Asia.
Under the deal signed at the Indonesian embassy in Seoul, the two companies would invest $40 million to build a cable factory near Jakarta. LS C&S said production would begin next month for completion in late 2019.
