SEOUL -- North Korean leader Kim Jong-un was caught in a sudden shower during his recent field guidance to a remote hot spring area northeast of Pyongyang.

Pictures released by the North's official Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) on August 17 showed Kim walking on a dirt road with his hair and clothes wet with rain during his trip to the hot spring area in Yangdok County, South Phyongan Province.

After being briefed on the operation of sanatoria and hot spring resorts, Kim called for the construction of modern health complexes, KCNA reported without saying when the trip was made.
