SEOUL -- K-pop band Girls' Generation will come back as a five-member unit group in September, the girls' agency said Monday.
SM Entertainment said in a statement that five Girls' Generation members -- Taeyeon, Hyoyeon, Yoona, Yuri and Sunny -- will form "Oh!GG", a unit group, and release a single album containing two songs on September 5.
The eight-member group stopped activities in October 2017 after Sooyoung, Tiffany and Seohyun decided not to renew their contracts with SM to focus on their acting career.
