SEOUL -- LG Electronics will release a special edition version this month of its budget smartphone, Q7, bearing the theme of famous K-pop band BTS, in South Korea.
LG said in a statement that the company would start receiving pre-orders for BTS-themed phones from September 13. The special Q7 edition, which is available at stores from September 20 with a price tag of 473,000 won ($419), will feature emoticons, designed with handwritings of BTS members, and good-night and good-morning alarms recorded by BTS.
The BTS edition includes 25 exclusive wallpaper images which will randomly change every day and a special app folder for BTS-related smartphone apps. Q7, a budget model released in May, has a 5.5-inch display and "Q Lens", an artificially intelligent camera lens.
