SEOUL -- The operator of Incheon International Airport, South Korea's main gateway west of Seoul, will export know-how for the construction of a new passenger terminal to be built by San Miguel, a leading Filipino conglomerate, in the province of Bulacan.

Incheon International Airport Corporation said it has signed a memorandum of understanding with San Miguel, which will build an airport complex in Bulakan to replace Ninoy Aquino International Airport as the country’s main gateway by 2021. Incheon airport authorities will use accumulated airport construction and operational know-how for the new Filipino airport.

In January, Incheon opened its second passenger terminal furnished with artworks, guiding robots, digital screens and other modern facilities for quick safety clearance. The first terminal has been rated the world's best, cleanest, and best international transit airport for 12 consecutive years.
