SEOUL -- "FAKE LOVE", a song released by K-pop boy band BTS in May 2018, was ranked 22nd in the list of 100 most favorite songs compiled by Billboard critics and staff.
Billboard revealed its year-end "100 Best Songs" chart this week and said FAKE LOVE, included in "Love Yourself: Tear" album, is part of the seven-member group's story which mines "the depths of despair, loneliness and heartbreak."
In May, FAKE LOVE debuted at No. 10 in Billboard's weekly Hot 100 chart and became the highest-charting song by a K-pop group in the U.S.
"Bad Boy", a song by K-pop girl band Red Velvet, was picked by Billboard staff as No. 43 and Boy band Pentagon's "Shine" was at No. 69.
