SEOUL --Kwon Kwang-jin, the bassist of N.Flying, a South Korean rap-rock band, was expelled from his team for having unspecified "personal" exchanges with fans, his management agency said, refuting allegations that he had been involved in sexual harassment.

FNC Entertainment said Wednesday in a statement posted on its website that for his improper behavior, Kwon would leave his team and suspend his entertainment activities. "Until the facts are clearly revealed, Kwon Kwang-jin will completely stop his entertainment activities to have time for self-reflection."

The five-man band debuted in 2015 with a single album and promotional track "Awesome". Kwon was the original bassist of CNBLUE, but he left the band in 2009 and formed a new band with other FNC trainees.

Fans have staged a campaign for Kwon's departure, accusing him of dating fans or speaking ill of his team members. There were allegations that some fans have been sexually harassed, but FNC threatened to take legal action against groundless rumors.
