SEOUL -- At CES 2019, the annual consumer electronics show in Las Vegas, LG Electronics, a top home appliance maker in South Korea, will showcase a new high-performance premium soundbar armed with Google Assistant, an artificial intelligence-powered virtual assistant.
An audio system, jointly developed jointly by LG and Meridian Audio of Britain, was applied to the new sound bar in different models. It is also equipped with Dolby Atmos, a surround sound technology by Dolby Laboratories, and DTS X, an object-based sound technology.
LG said its new soundbar automatically optimizes the sound according to the installation environment. The gyro sensor automatically adjusts the tilt of the front speaker and the up-firing speaker that faces the ceiling to create stereo sound. The thickness is only 57mm.
