SEOUL -- K-pop girl band MAMAOO's Wheein will sit on a chair to sing at a K-pop concert in Ho Chi Minh City on Friday due to an ankle injury, according to the group's agency.

RBW Entertainment said in a statement that Wheein had her ankle sprained Thursday night when she was returning home. "Doctor warned that participating at the concert in Vietnam would be tough, but Wheein was eager to meet fans," it said.

The powerful vocal quartet released "Wind Flower", the title song of the group's new album "BLUE;S" in November. MAMAMOO released a project mini-album "Yellow Flower" in March and "Red Moon", a summer-themed album, in July. More season-themed albums are to be released.
