SEOUL -- Samsung Electronics pledged an entirely new experience such as unrivaled power, speed and connectivity for the 5G model of its Galaxy S10 smartphones as South Korean mobile carriers began accepting preorders ahead of its official rollout this week.

It fully immerses consumers in the high-quality HD content, games, augmented reality and video conferencing made possible through 5G, Samsung said, adding its 5G phone would be available in majestic black, royal gold, crown silver colors. Galaxy S10 5G, with 512GB memory capacity, is priced at 1.55 million won ($1,367), and a 256GB variant carries a price tag of 1.39 million won.
