SEOUL -- Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI), the sole aircraft maker in South Korea, secured a deal worth $523 million to supply the main wing of G280, a twin-engine business jet built under license by Israel Aerospace Industries for Gulfstream Aerospace.

KAI said in a regulatory filing on Tuesday that the contract with Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) would expire at the end of 2030. The Israeli company can extend the contract by up to five years.

IAI is Israel's major aerospace and aviation manufacturer, producing aerial and astronautic systems for both military and civilian usage. Gulfstream Aerospace is an American aircraft company and a wholly owned subsidiary of General Dynamics.
