SEOUL -- South Korea's top hotel booking service app operator Yanolja has forged a partnership with Delivery Car, a car-sharing service operated by Hyundai Motor's financial wing, to provide a seamless one-stop combination of accommodation, leisure and car-sharing for consumers who want convenient travel services.

Yanolja said in a statement on Monday that it signed a memorandum of understanding with Delivery Car run by Hyundai Capital to cooperate in the development of new mobility services, upgrade existing car-sharing systems and promote services.

"We will increase the convenience of travelers by linking rental car services," Yanolja's online businesses division head Kim Jong-yun was quoted as saying. Yanolja established a chain service that would provide bookings and transactions of accommodation, leisure activities and car-sharing.

Yanolja would deliver vehicles using Delivery Car's service network. Delivery Car, launched in 2017, targets consumers who seek an easy and convenient car-sharing service by differentiating its service to deliver and retrieve vehicles.

Yanolja, founded in 2015, has seen dramatic growth in its business by providing interlinked booking services for hotels and leisure activities. The company has secured about $180 million from the Government of Singapore Investment Corporation (GIC) and Booking Holdings in June this year.
