Boy band TXT's new album tops iTunes' album charts in 22 countries

SEOUL -- Boy band TXT, the brother band of BTS, has swept global iTunes album charts with its second album "The Dream Chapter: MAGIC".

According to iTunes, a digital music service operated by Apple, "The Dream Chapter: MAGIC" has topped albums chart in 22 countries including the United States, Mexico and Russia as of 10:00 a.m. (0100 GMT) Tuesday. The five-member band's new album was released at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.

"Run Away", the title song of TXT's new album, is also receiving a lot of attention. The music video for Run Away has garnered more than 4.1 million views in less than 17 hours of release.

"This song is so addicting omggggg I can’t stop listening to it," said "Lucy Link", a YouTube user. Another user "Lora Alfonso" said: "Bruh! This boys are so dope! Like, I love the energy that they transmit, their vocals, their music Videos, I live everything about TXT!"

TXT has stepped into the K-pop scene in March this year, receiving the spotlight for being the first boy band created by Big Hit Entertainment in six years after BTS. The band's debut album, released in March, topped iTunes album charts in several countries including the U.S., Australia and Brazil.
