Big Hit Entertainment, the seven-member band's agency, said in a statement that it will open "BTS POP-UP : HOUSE OF BTS in CDMX" in Mexico City's popular shopping mall Plaza Carso on December 13. The project shop will open until January 26 next year, the agency said.
The HOUSE OF BTS store opened in Seoul in October this year. The shop in southern Seoul attracted countless fans across the globe with exclusive products and other BTS-themed items such as albums and photography books. More HOUSE OF BTS shops opened in Tokyo, Osaka and Fukuoka in November.
Before Big Hit officially launched the HOUSE OF BTS pop-up store brand, shops were opened in five cities including Los Angeles, London and Paris to commemorate BTS's 2019 world concert tour. Souvenirs such as T-shirts and booklets were sold at the project shops.
Big Hit said it plans to open more HOUSE OF BTS shops around the world so that overseas fans can experience BTS content and merchandizes.
